A uniquely beautiful and breath-taking view is the perfect place for you to exchange vows and a once in life-time moment. Our hilltop ceremony site is romantic and sets the tone for a wonderful celebration! The panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Lake Glenville welcomes you to soak in the sounds and sites of nature in a way that refreshes your mind and heart. The hilltop ceremony site can accommodate over 250 guests and surrounded by lush green Frasier fir Christmas trees, mountain laurel, blueberry bushes, and grapevines. In 2016, the Sawyers added the “Overlook Porch” for guests to enjoy the view while having ice water, shade, and or shelter. This structure also houses a restroom for everyone’s convenience. Because the Sawyer’s like to be prepared, not only is the outdoor ceremony site available, but there are two wonderful plan “B” options included at no charge in case of inclement weather!
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
